The Hopper Cabaret is a 38’ x 34’ cabaret-style theater located in the basement of Hopper College adjacent to the Buttery. The theater can accommodate an audience of up to 62 people seated around tables, or 82 people with chairs arranged in rows without tables. There are approximately 82 chairs in the space.  The Cabaret features a sprung dance floor making it suitable for dance.

There are two small dressing rooms and a small greenroom area backstage. The space is equipped with a lighting grid at a height of 11’, Source Four lighting equipment, a full sound system, video projector, and an inventory of theatrical curtains, including a white cyc. The theater is fully accessible.

Application for theater venues is integrated into the CPA application.  It is not necessary to submit separate applications to individual theaters if you are applying for a CPA award.  The application, along with additional information about the CPA Awards, may be found on the Creative and Performing Arts website.
