Undergraduate Production stands with the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. The senseless hate crime on March 16, 2021 in Atlanta — the murder of eight people, among them Daoyou Feng, Hyun Jung Grant, Suncha Kim, Soon Chung Park, Xiaojie Tan, and Yong Ae Yue — is part of a sharp rise in anti-Asian violence, prejudice, and discrimination over the last year. We acknowledge that this harm is not new, but part of our nation’s long history of violence against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders through white supremacy, racism, and sexism.
We are adding additional resources to our resource page, and encourage our community to engage with us and each other as we all confront all the challenges our present creates for our future.
